Handmade Festive is returning to fill Macrobert Arts Centre to the brim with gifts, cards, artwork and prints made independently by artists & makers based in Scotland and we want to hear from you.
For over a decade Handmade Festive has provided Artists and Makers a platform to showcase their work and sell their wares to a diverse market - offering audiences the opportunity to purchase original, affordable gifts throughout the festive season. Between the annual Panto, studio show for wee ones, participatory workshops and daily film programme, the venue sees a footfall of more than 50,000 visitors.

Macrobert are seeking submissions from independent practitioners based in Scotland with original, high-quality work to sell. We actively encourage applications from practitioners at various stages; from part-time makers to professional artists. We are particularly interested in work made using environmentally friendly practices and/or materials. Previous popular items have included: mosaics, jewellery, framed applique, framed & unframed artworks/prints, textiles, upcycled crafts and homewares, cards and festive decorations across a range of price points.
As the festive programme at Macrobert for 2026 centres around Beauty and the Beast and A Show About Snow we are also interested in items with beautiful, beastly and snowy themes.
Handmade Festive will run from Sat 21 Nov 2026 to Sun 03 Jan 2027 during venue opening hours.
The deadline for submissions is noon on Wed 30 Sep 2026.
