Fresh from its hit sold out Edinburgh Festival run, 2026 and The Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027 The Cut of Her Jib landed on three Fringe hit lists: 14 Shows We’ve Loved, Five Star Picks and Certified Fringe Bangers. A wicked, gin-soaked dark comedy set on a stormy Edinburgh Hogmanay. When Belinda’s husband disappears, cleaner Barbara brings forensic instincts and deliciously sharp observations. Marriage, class and sex are dismantled with biting wit. Female rage detonates; widowhood can be an upgrade and menopause absolute murder.

From multi-award-winning Glasgow writer Kathleen Ruddy, creator of Sex, Chips & Ouzo, Glasgow Hard Tickets and The Devil Wears Primark.
