Bette and Joan
by Anton Burge

When ageing screen goddesses Bette Davis and Joan Crawford come together on the film set of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, their legendary rivalry, struggles and insecurities spill over from the sound stage to the dressing rooms.

With humour and pathos Bette and Joan is an insightful exploration of how old Hollywood used youth, beauty and talent to its own ends.

“witty, biting and surprisingly moving” : The Stage
