Suzanne trained as a musician before swapping the studio for the boards of Scottish Theatre. Suzanne began her career in Scottish theatre at The Gaiety Theatre in Ayr joining over a decade ago and working on The Gaiety's Capital Refurbishment, returning briefly during the Covid-19 pandemic to assist with their online and outdoor programme. After five wonderful years in Ayrshire, Suzanne ventured into commercial theatre in 2019,  joining Ambassador Theatre Group as their Head of Sales and Development, working across their three Scottish venues; Glasgow King's & Theatre Royal and the Edinburgh Playhouse attracting sponsors, developing partnerships with the cities corporate communities and representing the theatres on city-wide bodies. 

Since joining Macrobert in March 2024, Suzanne has created a new corporate sponsorship model which is now entering its third consecutive year and delivered record-breaking audience figures for the UK's Best Pantomime (Weans in the Wood, 2025).

Beyond her love of theatre, music and live performance - Suzanne teaches at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she is also studying an MA in Arts Leadership and Fundraising. She is currently a Director of Hydra Arts, a community-focused arts organisation in West Dunbartonshire.
