Moviehouse Plean

That's a wrap - for now. It's been a wonderful whirlwind of a journey and we're very grateful for everyone who has been a part of it with us. No matter what the future holds, this is something that we're incredibly proud of and will never forget.

After our final screenings on Sunday 14 April, our small but mighty cinema will close it's doors -for now.

Over the past six months, we have hosted 292 films with audiences attending from Plean, Stirling, Glasgow and beyond. We have worked with local students from East Plean Primary School and put their short films on the big screen, welcomed residents from William Simpsons Care Home for our Coffee and a Classic series, and even hosted a live Q&A as part of the Central Scotland Documentary Festival. Our programme has been varied and included brand-new releases such as Trolls Band Together and Anatomy of a Fall, classic gems like Casablanca, and community chosen films such as Kubo and the Two Strings.

It's been a wonderful whirlwind of a journey and we're so grateful for everyone who have been a part of it with us. No matter what the future holds, this is something that we're incredibly proud of and will never forget. ❤️
